Team Victoria registered their first win on Oceania Nepali Sports Meet Cricket Tournament after defeating Team WA by 30 runs. After wining the toss, Team Victoria elected to bat first.
Victoria batting lineup collapsed as they were in trouble at 7 overs where they managed to score just 31 runs in loss of 6 wickets. But Raj Kumar Gurung(32) and Keshav Pant(16) played responsibly adding 50 runs partnership for 7th wicket and lately at the end of innings Mukesh Gurung and Ankit Thapa smashed some boundaries to make a compitative total of 126 with loss of 9 wickets.
In reply to 126 runs, Team WA was collapsed in 96 runs in their 20 overs. Manish Adhikari from Team Victoria managed to take 4 wickets in his 4-overs spell and he claimed the Man of the Match Award. Team Victoria Camp is boosted up with this victory and they will be keen to keep this momentum when they face QLD tomorrow and Team SA on Sunday in the group stage Matches.
