The continious influx of Nepalese students in Adelaide (South Australia) has given the rise of organisation called “Adelaide Nepal”. This organization was founded in 2016 by Gokul Dhakal and his team primarily for the wellbeing of the Nepalese students who have been struggling for their bright future. It is tremendously laudable to see the team’s wholehearted passions and spirits for what they are doing in order for stepping up and helping those students who are in a dire need of help and support owing to their unfortunate- circumstances.
The founder of the organization Mr. Dhakal opines “ Adelaide- Nepal has been deeply concerned with the problems and troubles of Nepalese students living in and around Adelaide, and for that matter the organization has been largely and self-evidently assisting in the numerious ways to help students from its own capacities”.
The organzation is fully committed to preservingNepalese cultural values and traditions that may otherwise be disappeared if not guard against the possible tsunami of our own forgetfulness about our motherland. The orgnaisation’s bedrock aim is to tailoring the cultural and historical message constantly and consistently to the second generationsNepalese in Australia. This move will be the stitch in time for preserving our unique cultural values and traditions. One of the central objectives of Adelaide-Nepal therefore is to preserve our unique cultural-identities and values in what ways it can to.
The Achievements of Adelaide-Nepal:
It has worked as a channel between giver and the needy:
It has gained an unstained- reputation in Adelaide.
It has provided jobs for well over 50 jobless community people in a very short span of time.
It has also helped numerous students to find the right place to settle in. A shared accommodation or cheap rooms for students or jobless has been a massive hit.
