Geelong, Australia: The Victorian government has granted AUD 15,000 to GNA to support the Nepalese who has been affected by COVID-19.
There are more than 300 Nepalese, living in Geelong, a city southwest of Melbourne, Australia. The Geelong Nepalese Association (GNA) has been working to help Nepalese residing there with every sort of need.
GNA has been supporting Nepalese with all the necessary items such as groceries, PPE, and other mental and financial support.
GNA is conducting a virtual gettogether on 25th September 2020 to provide a “Mental health and wellbeing awareness program” to all the participants. The speaker of this program is Psychiatrist Dr. Anupam Pokherel, Mindfulness couch Mr. Mausam Ratna Shakya, and Psychologist Mr. Narendra Thagunna.
