Didi Bahini Samaj Victoria has been supporting the victims of sexual/ domestic violence from the last 5 years, with the fund collected through teej programs. To date they have helped 75 victims with AUD 11,000, last year they helped with AUD 4000 which is the highest to date.
Due to this pandemic, there is a rise in Sexual/ domestic violence in Nepal, thus they have planned to send AUD 5000 in support of all victims. Nevertheless, they are unable to organize teej program this time because of the pandemic.
Therefore, DBSV has requested everyone to make their little help to support the victims of Sexual/ domestic violence in Nepal. They have been collecting funds from different sources in Australia.
