Didibahini Samaj Victoria has been actively working in response to COVID-19. They have been helping Nepalese students who are in need and to date, DBSV has supported 415 students with 660 grocery package and supporting other needs. Moreland City Council Combined Churches Caring Melton Inner North Community Foundation Expert Education & Visa Services Melbourne DIVRS has also contributed to this program.
As stated by Vice- President Prabha Shrestha, “We have appeal every community/ organization to help Nepalese students in need and be ready to take further steps in crisis. There are several Nepalese communities who are willing to sponsor anytime needed.”
