Melbourne: Victoria is experiencing a surge in COVID-19 infections, with 723 new cases reported today, after 295 were reported yesterday. A further death has been recorded overnight, taking the total number of fatalities to 13. According to Victoria Health and Human Service Department the covid-19 cases is increasing with more than 300 every day and the death case is also increasing gradually. Several Nepalese are also infected with COVID-19 so it’s a request to every Nepalese to stay alert and safe.
Consulate General of Nepal to Victoria, NRNA Victoria and Nepalese Association of Victoria has shared their sadness for COVID-19 infected Nepalese and have requested everyone to be careful and help each other, acting responsibly.
As stated by NRNA VIC-Coordinator Prem Kandel, “NRNA is providing $120 worth of groceries to make some ease to every infected Nepalese.”
